Been wanting to write here about the Super Benefits of a Home Grown Garden (or I should say it's nice having wonderful neighbors that have an AWESOME Home Garden, who share with us). Nothing like fresh picked tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, squash, green peppers, lettuce and watermelons from a garden to have for lunch and/or dinner.
This morning I picked tomatoes and cucumbers from our neighbors garden. These made for a very tasty salad at lunch with a little grilled chicken added. I will be including some in a salad with dinner tonight. I just love the fresh taste of just picked tomatoes. Is your taste buds going crazy? Do you like fresh grown vegetables when you can get them? I have found they have a much better flavor than when purchased from the grocery store.
Here's another great benefit from the fresh grown vegetables, they are so much better and nutritional for your health than junk food or higher calorie foods.
I have always wanted to grow my own delicious, mouthwatering vegetables so next year, I will be using this book "Home Vegetable Gardening" (a How to…book) and help from of our great neighbors to have my own garden.
Please leave a comment, let me know about your experiences with Home Vegetable Gardens and any of your best home gardening tips to getting the best out of your gardens.
